Working with Family Law Professionals
We have the knowledge and experience required to work on copyright issues that arise when there are issues arising as part of divorce proceedings. We have the expertise for properly advising the family law bar regarding these issues and have given presentations to lawyer groups concerning ownership of copyrights in the community property context. In one case of note, Roy Gordet advised a spouse in a Federal court dispute concerning ownership of copyrights as between a husband and wife who were co-owners of a corporation whose main asset was the copyright in the corporation’s software.
